About Anuj Narula
Anuj Narula is a widely acclaimed infrastructure consultant, road safety expert, technical trainer, coach, speaker, and aspiring author. With nearly two decades of experience, he has worked on the technical design of roads, highways, and expressway projects. He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and is deeply passionate about skill-building for civil engineers in the field of transportation engineering.
Anuj is also associated with several reputed engineering universities as guest faculty. Outside of his professional life, his hobbies include reading books on positive mental attitude, horse riding, playing tennis, swimming, cycling, and performing caricature acts. He is an avid follower of the "Law of Attraction" and practices it in his daily life. Additionally, he is a "Body Language" enthusiast who enjoys observing and sharing insights into the surprising traits revealed through people's non-verbal cues.

On 29th April, Techhub engineering and advisory pvt ltd completed 3 incredible years.
And honestly… it feels deeply special.
Not just because of the number,
but because of the journey behind it.
From uncertain, unstructured and humble beginning…
to a more confident, aligned, and evolving present,
this journey has been shaped by
relentless effort, sheer resilience, and consistent commitment….
Every milestone we’ve reached
has come from people stepping up,
taking real ownership,
In past 3 years we have completed more than 50 road detail engineering projects, more than 60 prebid engineering, a few railway prebid engineering and also some industrial corridor Deisgn works.
For years and years, I kept telling myself
“I’ll take even more care of my health… soon.”
But between work, meetings, and daily responsibilities, that “soon” never really came.
So I tried many things, including walking, running, cycling, gym, yoga, and aerobics… but nothing with consistency. So don’t take me wrong if you are a fan of any of the above activities and they are getting results for you.
But after being fed up with myself and my inconsistency, recently, when I completed the book Atomic Habits by James Clear, I came across this concept of Make it Attractive about habits.
And I started thinking about how I could make fitness an integrated part of my life, so I made a small change in my routine.
Tennis is something which has always been very close to my heart… thanks to my mentor who trained me way back in 2007.
Since then, this game has come and disappeared from my life many times… however, the value of it remained intact in my heart.

There are moments that mark your life
“There are moments that mark your life. Moments when you realize nothing will ever be the same, and time is divided into two parts: before this and after this.”
For me, that moment was in 2004, when I made the life-changing decision to join IIT Kanpur. Looking back, it still amazes me how a 23-year-old dreamer made it there.
Coming from a biology background, my journey was unconventional—1 year of B.Sc., 3 years of diploma, 3 years of B.Tech., and a year-long drop for competitive exams. Getting into IIT Kanpur felt like an impossible dream, but it reshaped my life forever.
Those two years felt like a thousand—intense, transformative, and unforgettable.
The aura of IIT Kanpur was divinely mesmerizing, and I am extremely grateful to Naukri Campus for making me relive those moments.
So Far, Year 2024, for Me, has Been The Year of “Self evolution”.
With the start of this year I decided to elevate my mindset by reading 24 Self help books this year (Average 2 per month). This was indeed a daunting task for me as I am a slow reader and even a slower learner.
With initial 6 months I cud only read 4 books of self help. However this created a momentum within myself and put me on the “super hustle” mode.
In the next 5 months my hunger to read, absorption and intention to implement the wisdom shared by these books, led me to read 8 more books and now I have set a modified target to finish 18 self books by the end of 2024.
There can be many reasons that “why books are one of the most underrated yet effective way” of self evolution and adding fulfilment to life, however my reasons are listed as below
1. Writing books is a highly thoughtful, creative and concentrated work and therefore generally it’s one of the best work of any author of his life.
